FOR THE 23rd CONSECUTIVE YEAR DEMAYO LAW OFFICES IS PLEASED TO OFFER HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE $5,000 WITH THE ARRIVE ALIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
CHARLOTTE, NC (2025) – DeMayo Law Offices has started the clock for local high school seniors who are looking for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship for their college education by participating and being selected in the 23rd annual Arrive Alive Scholarship Program presented by DeMayo Law Offices.
In 2003, attorney Michael A. DeMayo launched the Arrive Alive® Scholarship Program to support high school seniors with the rising expenses of a college education. In its inaugural year, the program awarded five $1,000 scholarships to Mecklenburg County high school seniors who wrote essays encouraging their peers to prevent underage drinking and distracted driving—a tragic and recurring issue that Mr. DeMayo has witnessed in his practice, often with devastating outcomes. Over the years, the scholarship program expanded to reach more students, and awarded 15 winners from 23 counties, each who received a $2,500 scholarship.

In 2025, DeMayo Law Offices will proudly award ten graduating seniors $5,000 each in scholarship funds. In addition to writing essays, high school students can express themselves in a variety of presentations, including billboards, brochures, website home pages, or music videos. The objective of the presentations is to reach and impact the target audience through peer-to-peer messaging and highlight the dangers of underage drinking and distracted driving.
The law firm has awarded over $775,000.00 in total scholarships over the years and will be awarding an additional $50,000 in college scholarships this year to 10 high school seniors who reside and attend schools in the following counties: Mecklenburg, Gaston, Catawba, Union (NC), Cabarrus, Cleveland, Lincoln, Rowan, Caldwell, Stanly, Iredell, Alexander, Burke, Robeson, Scotland, Richmond, Anson, Cumberland, York, Lancaster, Chester, Cherokee, and Chesterfield.
