The overall objective is to collect the most food for the Second Harvest Food Bank which provides food for the homeless and families in need in Charlotte. There is a tremendous level of competition and gamesmanship and it is always very entertaining to see which team can outdo the other team.
The unique point system allows some food items to count as negative points, resulting in teams “bombing” each other at strategic points. The winning team is rewarded for its efforts and win with an exclusive dinner with Michael A. DeMayo.
