Settlement for a client who was injured on a construction site when he lifted a heavy metal board, causing him to rupture a disc in his low back. The client had low back surgery and a spinal cord stimulator implanted. The client now has permanent restrictions of no heavy lifting (Mecklenburg County, 2014).
