Settlement during litigation. Client was injured when a speeding vehicle turned left in front of her and crashed with her. Client sustained a compound fracture to her right heel, a severely fractured right ankle requiring two surgeries and placement of a plate and screws, and a laceration to her liver that required surgical repair (Union County, 2014).
